Anna has been painting for many years while maintaining a busy career as an actuary. For a long time, she has shared her artwork with others through Christmas cards, notes, and displays in her office and home. In 2011, her painting “Skystory“ was included in the Later Impressions show at the Chicago Cultural Center. 

 

Anna’s work is to express feelings and capture the essence of the world around her through color and line. She focuses on mixing color, shapes, patterns, textures, and movement. Anna works on paper using various media, including collage, watercolor, pastels, and ink drawings. She searches for unique elements to include in her collages and combines them with drawing, watercolor, and oil pastel. She finds that splatter often adds an interesting touch. Anna also creates nature and flower paintings, all inspired by her feelings.
