Enjoy the truly unique experience of staying on a working certified organic farm in the historical "Black Barn" of Verdant Hollow. The mid 1800's barn in Buchanan was converted to a home by renowned architect Stanley Tigerman in 1973 offering up the opportunity to retreat and relax in a bucolic setting. Included in your stay is a farm tour, and the opportunity to take a goat hike—a one-hour hike through pasture and woods with the Farm’s herd of goats! It’s a fun way to interact with these lovely creatures in their favorite environment. You can also take a stroll on one of their wooded hiking trails, or simply enjoy the beautiful view of our pond from the screened in gazebo.
